Coolest stretch since summer began
SEATTLE -- Well, we knew this time would come eventually. Temperatures will cool to…dare I say…”normal” daytime highs. The truth is that we will run a bit below average this weekend as highs only heat into the mid-70s.
An area of low pressure dropping down from Canada will take those early morning clouds (wrapped in a marine layer of cool air) and disperse them across Western Washington. This means they will linger longer providing cooler temperatures.
Afternoon sunshine will continue this weekend and most of next week. This will be the coolest stretch of weather since summer started. Mostly dry conditions continue as well.
For those keeping score, Seattle is currently .60" below normal rainfall.
