Crash shuts down northbound I-5 near SeaTac

Authorities are investigating what caused a multi-car crash Monday morning on I-5 near SeaTac. 

All northbound lanes of I-5 have reopened following a multi-vehicle crash early Monday morning near SeaTac.

What we know:

The crash happened north of South 188th Street before 1 a.m. 

The crash fully blocked the northbound lanes and traffic was diverted to South 188th Street and Orillia Road. 

At about 5:30 a.m., crews had the crash scene cleared and all lanes reopened. 

It's not known what led up to the crash and the investigation remains ongoing.
