Crystal Mountain expanding ski operations this weekend

CRYSTAL MOUNTAIN, Wash - Great news for skiers and snowboarders:

Crystal Mountain received eight inches of new snow over the past two days allowing the resort to expand operations this weekend.

The Rainier Express chair will open for this first time this season on Saturday, in addition to Discovery, Green Valley Express and the Mt. Rainier Gondola.

On Sunday the resort will add three more lifts. The resort includes a total of ten lifts and plans to open the remaining lifts as soon as possible, which will require another eight to ten inches of snow.
