Divers find body off Bainbridge Island
BAINBRIDGE ISLAND -- Amateur divers swimming Sunday near Blakely Rock Island came across a body believed to be that of a diver recently reported missing.
According to the Kitsap Sun, recreational divers found the dead body at around 70 feet deep. They placed a marker buoy above the body and called the Seattle Police Department, and the Seattle Harbor control arrived to recover the body. The body's sex and identity were not immediately reported.
Police said a diver was reported missing in the Blakely Rock area Saturday.
