Driver crashes into bedroom; no injuries reported

EDMONDS -- A truck crashed into the bedroom of a house this morning in Edmonds, officials said, narrowly missing a homeowner.

Edmonds police said the truck crashed into the home around 10 a.m. in the 1000 block of Bell Street. No one was injured in the crash, and the driver was not impaired.

The homeowner was home at the time, officials said. A small fire caused by the crash was quickly extinguished.

The cause of the crash is not yet known.
