Ex-student allegedly sends illicit emails to teacher, other students
MOUNTLAKE TERRACE -- A 15-year-old boy is accused of sending sexually explicit emails to his former teacher and fellow students as a way to "lash out" at his mother, the Everett Herald reported.
The 15-year-old former Mountlake Terrace High School student is expected to face misdemeanor cyberstalking charges after he allegedly created fake accounts to harass his teacher and other female students, the Herald reported. The student was expelled from the school shortly before the 2013 fall semester.
According to the Herald, the female teacher received five messages containing sexually explicit languages in May and June. Alarmed by the emails from a anonymous email address she didn't recognize, the teacher contacted police. The teacher grew suspicious of the suspected student when allegedly contacted the teacher via Pinterest and Google+ at the same time she received messages from the anonymous email address that contained sexual content. Police contacted the student and he allegedly told police another boy had done it. However, some female students stepped forward and said the suspect had sent them illicit emails, as well. The boy then allegedly confessed, saying he was upset with his mother and sent the emails as a way to lash out.
The boy is expected to be charged later this month.
