Fox 13 Meteorologist Abby Acone Gets Engaged!
We are happy to announce that Fox 13's Abby Acone got engaged, and said yes to a lifetime of happiness with her partner, Alli!
SEATTLE - FOX 13 Seattle Meteorologist Abby Acone is officially engaged! Her announcement aired on Good Day Seattle throughout the Saturday morning shows on Aug. 2.
What she's saying:
"Alli and I had a tidal wave of joy just hours after tsunami coverage earlier that day. She proposed to me at Golden Gardens - which is one of my favorite places. I knew an engagement was imminent, but she still pulled off such a delightful surprise!
In a post to social media on Friday, Acone announced her engagement to her partner, Alli, with the following caption:
"💍 EnGAYged to the brightest green flag of a human 🥹 We are so happy 🥹 Swipe to see what I texted my BFFs after the first date 😭"

Included in her post to Instagram, the Washington native also shared an early conversation with fellow FOX 13 Seattle colleagues, Chief Meteorologist Brian MacMillan and Traffic Anchor Adam Gehrke when the future couple had just met.
On Saturday, Acone spoke more about her engagement and upcoming plans.
"Alli and I knew the other was 'the one' after our first date. She is the most thoughtful, kind, loving, fun and good-hearted person I've ever met. I can't wait to marry her!"
What's next:
Abby says she plans on proposing back to Alli sometime in the near future. "I've procured her ring -- all I need to do is find the right time to do it! I'm taking suggestions on ways or places to do it :)"
