Gun 'accidentally' goes off, shoots 3 people

TACOMA -- A woman said a gun she kept in her car "accidentally" went off and shot three people including herself Tuesday night, the Tacoma News Tribune reported.
The incident happened around 7 p.m. near the intersections of East D Street and Wiley Avenue. A 25-year-old woman called police and said that a gun accidentally fired in her car, shooting herself, a 31-year-old woman and another 25-year-old woman. The caller was shot in the hand, while the others were shot in the stomach and the back, the News Tribune reported.
The woman told police a single bullet struck all three people.
None of the injuries were life-threatening, the woman said. It is unknown if any of the woman were taken to the hospital.
Police could not confirm the shooting was an accident, the News Tribune reported, but they were not looking for any suspects.
Tacoma police are investigating the incident.
