'Gun battle:' Cars hit by bullets in Seattle neighborhood
SEATTLE -- Police found two cars with bullet holes in them after receiving several shots fired calls around 10:30 Friday night.
According to Seattle police, officers found one of the cars crashed into the fence and another still in the street on the 2100 block of 26th Avenue. Nobody was inside or around the vehicles.
A witness told police people inside both cars were firing at each other and a third car involved drove away.
Detectives said other cars in the area were also struck by bullets, but they said nobody was hurt.
Officers found three people who may have been involved, but witnesses could not identify them as suspects.
Both cars were impounded and will be processed for evidence, police said.
