Hawk found on I-405 eating and gaining weight
LYNNWOOD, Wash. - A red-tailed hawk found last weekend by a Washington State trooper on I-405 is doing well according to PAWS.
The trooper saw the hawk fall from a nest and chauffeured the bird in his passenger seat to PAWS.
At first the trooper believed it was a bald eagle, but after further investigation - it was a red tailed hawk.
PAWS says the hawk is stable, eating well and gaining weight.
They will continue to monitor the hawk closely.
