Hawks fan gets ultimate wish
The Seahawks have a big game against the Rams Sunday, but they got some extra motivation Saturday with a visit from a young man who also got the chance to meet his idol.
Calin Bubba visited the Hawks' facility in Renton, thanks to Make-A-Wish.
The 14-year-old has dreams of playing pro football, but has been sidelined this year while he battled a life threatening bone disease.
"I've been going through chemo for nine months now," said Bubba. "To have this opportunity to be here it makes everything I`m going through just so much easier."
On the practice field he meets several player, but his wish is to hang out with his favorite player, Pro Bowl Cornerback Richard Sherman.
"It is inspiring to see everything he goes through, to keep a positive attitude, to keep on fighting," said Sherman.
As part of his wish, Bubba will also be on the sidelines at Century Link Field on Sunday, to help cheer on Sherman and the Hawks.
