Snoqualmie, Stevens passes reopen after lengthy closures
I-90 closure effects delivery drivers stuck in Snoqualmie Pass
Crews worked to reopen I-90 over Snoqualmie Pass on Tuesday. Many truck drivers were stuck in the pass for nearly 24 hours due to winter weather conditions.
NORTH BEND, Wash. - UPDATE: Stevens Pass reopened Wednesday morning. Both passes were open as of 9:30 a.m.
Interstate 90 between North Bend and Ellensburg reopened at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday after being closed for nearly 24 hours.

Extended closure at Snoqualmie Pass
Snoqualmie Pass will remain closed until at least noon on Tuesday when crews will reassess.
US 2 over Stevens Pass would remain closed until at least 8:00 a.m. Wednesday. The highway was closed because of heavy snow, spun-out cars, and avalanche danger.
After blizzard-like conditions, numerous collisions, and severe avalanche danger on Monday, Snoqualmie Pass closed in both directions overnight.
Crews were out Monday and Tuesday clearing more than a foot of snow, after dealing with 30 inches since Friday.
I-90 was closed between milepost 34 near North Bend and milepost 106 near Ellensburg.
WSDOT crews are regularly monitoring for avalanche danger and will close the freeway as needed to keep roads safe.
