Inflatable blimp crashes into stands at Portland Trail Blazers game

PORTLAND, Ore. (KPTV) -- An inflatable SUV that flies around the Moda Center at Trail Blazers games made a crash landing in the stands Thursday night.

The "blimp" in the shape of a Ford Escape drops coupons and other items to fans before games and during halftime.

For an unknown reason, the blimp crashed into the stands Thursday.

No one was hurt, but it took Moda Center staff a while to remove the blimp from that section of seats.

A tweet from the Blazers' official Twitter account says "it doesn't look good" for the Ford blimp.
