Issaquah road remains closed due to landslide
ISSAQUAH, Wash. - A road remains closed in Issaquah after a landslide Wednesday morning.
The landslide is at Northwest Oakcrest Drive and the closure is from Newport Way Northwest from Lakemont Boulevard Southeast to State Route 900.
The stretch of road was closed overnight, since crews need more daylight hours to implement cleanup, according to the city of Issaquah.
Drivers are advised to take alternate routes and local access is possible from each direction.
The road was to remain closed through at least Friday, city officials said.
This is a developing story, and will be updated.
