It's been historically wet around Western Washington lately

SEATTLE – If you think it’s been wet the last couple months, boy are you ever right.

According to the National Weather Service, there have been 18.43 inches at Sea-Tac Airport since Nov. 1.

Since 1894, it’s only been wetter during that timeframe one time – back in 2006, when 19.94 inches fell.

That’s not the only impressive weather total we’ve racked up recently. Six feet of snow have fallen over the five days at Snoqualmie Pass – and more is expected.

The good news: There’s been about a 300 percent increase in snow pack in the Cascades.
