Kings of the tables: The top earning DJs

NEW YORK -– DJs aren’t just the guys you hire for weddings or Sweet 16 birthday parties. Some are branching out within the music industry and are becoming multi-millionaires.

From Forbes magazine, the world’s highest paid deejays include Calvin Harris, who tops the list, pulling in $46 million. Forbes said he has played more than 100 shows, each at $200,000 a pop. But, he’s also known for his collaborations with Rihanna and LMFAO.

Coming in second is Dutch DJ, Tiesto, who has raked in $32 million and David Guetta came in third at $30 million. You may know Guetta know from his collaborations with the Black Eyed Peas and Usher. Swedish House Mafia and Deadmau5 round out the top five on the list.
