Lockett back in game after being evaluated for concussion
SEATTLE – Super-rookie Tyler Lockett left the Seahawks’ game against the St. Louis Rams on Sunday after suffering a head injury in the second quarter, but passed a concussion evaluation and returned.
Lockett went down fighting for a jump-ball pass that turned out to be quarterback Russell Wilson’s first interception since Week 10 of the NFL season.
Lockett spent a few minutes on the sidelines being examined by several trainers before being walked off the field into the locker room, where he was being evaluated for a concussion.
He returned late in the half.
Lockett, a rookie of the year candidate, was selected to the Pro Bowl last week as a special-teams returner.
