Logging truck felled on I-405; one injured
KIRKLAND, Wash. -- A logging truck spilled its load Wednesday morning on northbound Interstate 405, causing long delays and injuring one drive, the Washington State Patrol said.
The truck overturned shortly before 10 a.m. in the Totem Lake area of Kirkland. The right two lanes northbound were blocked, as well as the 160th Street on-ramp.
A driver of a car was hit by logs, and was taken to the hospital with injuries.
A loader was on the scene at 10:30 a.m. and a large tow truck was also on its way. Heavy back-up persisted and it was unknown when the roadway would be cleared. The truck was on its wheels by 11 a.m.
