Man arrested after bank burglary attempt in North Seattle
SEATTLE - Police arrested a 49-year-old man accused of trying to break into a bank in North Seattle late Monday night.
Seattle police were dispatched at 11:34 p.m. to an alarm blaring at the Bank of America branch on Fifth Ave NE and NE Northgate Way. A man was seen on surveillance video inside the building.
When officers arrived, they saw the glass door had been smashed in and heard banging sounds from inside. They cordoned off the building and ordered the man to exit and come into police custody.
