Man charged in murder of grandparents pleads guilty
SEATTLE -- Michael “Chadd” Boysen, charged with two counts of aggravated first-degree murder in the death of his grandparents, initially pleaded not guilty to the charges in April, but on Friday he entered an Alford plea. Boysen's plea means he does not admit to committing the murders, but does acknowledge the prosecution could like prove the charges filed against him.
Boysen was charged with two counts of first-degree aggravated murder in the deaths of his grandparents. Norma and Robert Taylor were found dead in their home March 9. Boysen had recently been released from prison and his grandparents had hosted a welcome home party for him.
Boysen, 27, is scheduled to be sentenced to life in prison without parole on Oct. 18.
