Seattle firefighters investigate hazmat situation in Capitol Hill
SEATTLE - Firefighters evacuated buildings to investigate a hazmat situation in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood.
The Seattle Fire Department (SFD) first reported the incident on social media at around 8:44 a.m.
According to the department, crews were near the intersection of 12th Avenue and East Pine Street for a hazmat response. This area is about a block east of Cal Anderson Park.
As a safety precaution, the buildings at the intersection were evacuated.
