Man injured in drive-by shooting near Kent's East Hill Home Depot

KENT -- Police were investigating a drive-by shooting Thursday night near Kent's East Hill Home Depot, where they found a man who said he had been shot.

The man was transported to a local hospital for treatment, police said, adding that the extent of his injuries were not immediately known.

"Preliminary information indicates that a witness called 911 to report hearing gun shots fired in the area of Kent's East Hill Home Depot, located in the 26100 block of 104th Avenue SE," police said.

Detectives canvased off the area and were gathering evidence to try to determine what led up to the shooting. Police had no suspects.
