Man shot multiple times in Pioneer Square, rushed to hospital with life-threatening wounds, police say
SEATTLE -- A man was shot multiple times in Seattle's Pioneer Square Monday night, police said, and he was rushed to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening wounds.
The shooting occurred in the 300 block of 2nd Avenue Extension South, police said.
Police said the victim is 20 years old. They said witnesses told police that there was an argument between a male suspect and the victim before the suspect pulled out a gun and shot multiple times.
Police said they do not have a good description of the suspect. They said witnesses reported that the gunman fled on foot, then jumped into a car that sped away.
No other details were immediately released.

It is the second shooting in Pioneer Square in days. On Saturday, a man was shot and wounded in the neighborhood, but a suspect was taken into custody in that case.
