Man tries to sell computers, robs store instead
SEATTLE -- Police are looking for a man they say entered an electronic store Sunday night trying to sell two computers, but left the store the suspect in an armed robbery case.
Around 6:30 p.m. Sunday, a 5'10" black male wearing a red sweatshirt entered an electronics store and tried to sell the employees two computers, police said. The employees refused to buy the goods and the man allegedly grew upset and pulled out a chrome handgun. He then chambered a round and demanded money and cell phones from the employees. The victims complied with the man's demands and he left the store.
No one was injured in the robbery, police said. The victims waited 15 minutes to call police, fearing the suspect was still outside. Officers could not locate the suspect.
Seattle police detectives are investigating the robbery, and looking into the two computers the man left behind in the store.
