Missing child rapist surrenders after seeing himself on WMW

FUGITIVE CAPTURED August 23, 2013 -- The Department of Corrections says convicted sex offender, Morris Baker, did the right thing after seeing himself featured on the show -- and surrendered at the Snohomish County Jail on Friday.

WANTED BY DOC IN SNOHOMISH COUNTY August 16, 2013 -- Morris Baker has been convicted of raping a 12-year-old girl over and over, as well as many domestic violence crimes. In one assault, he beat a woman bloody and dragging her by the hair -- all because she didn't visit him in jail.

An attack on a different woman, ended with gunfire. "Baker confronted the victim inside her own home. He yelled at her, pushed her, and held her in place via her throat and face, not allowing her to leave. In his hand he had a .22 rifle, and repeatedly swung the butt of the gun towards her face, threatening to shoot her. He even fired three rounds into the ground, just to scare her," Ofc. Christina Lacy with the Department of Corrections said. Police also said that when Baker drinks, he becomes even more reckless. Baker is known to hang out in Everett, and police last saw him driving a white Ford Explorer. If you know how to help catch Baker, call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS. You can also text a tip here.
