Missing violent rapist arrested

UPDATED SEPTEMBER 3, 2013: Officers arrested Dawnte Jackson in Kent Tuesday afternoon during a traffic stop. WANTED BY DOC IN KING COUNTY -- Officers say Dawnte Jackson is extremely dangerous, and tells them he "snaps" when he gets mad. When it came to a woman he'd been drinking with, he strangled, beat, and brutally raped her. The attack was so violent, she was bruised all over, and nearly suffered a ruptured liver. He's wanted for breaking supervision in King County, as well as an assault conviction for choking a different woman. The victim in another of his violent attacks, was a young child. Officers say Jackson has possible mental health issues. He's also deep into drugs, even getting busted selling a bunch of ectasy to an undercover cop in just one of his drug crimes. "He is known to carry guns, and is very anti-law enforcement," says DOC Ofc. Christina Lacy. "He has a bad temper, and admits that he'll snap when angry. He becomes very violent to anyone that crosses his path, even his family." Jackson is 31 years old and a known gang member in the Seattle area.
