Thousands remain without power amid Western WA snowfall
KING COUNTY, Wash. - Thousands of customers are still without power across Western Washington as snowfall batters the region.
As of 11:30 a.m. Monday, Seattle City Light reported that power had been restored to most and three customers remain in the dark.
Outside of Seattle, Puget Sound Energy reported 3,428 customers without power across Pierce, Thurston, King, Snohomish, Skagit and Whatcom counties.
The agency tackled dozens of outages across the region, with causes ranging from equipment failure to fallen trees, while many others are under investigation. Most outages were centered around Bellingham and Sedro-Woolley.
Snohomish PUD reported 49 customers without power, Tacoma Power reported 22 and Peninsula Light had 2 customers without power.
