Motorcycle rider, horse killed in Thurston County crash
THURSTON COUNTY, Wash. - One person is dead after a motorcycle struck a horse in Rochester early Wednesday morning.
The crash happened before 5:00 a.m. on State Route 12 near Rochester.
Washington State Patrol troopers say the motorcyclist and horse were both killed.
Few details were immediately released.
SR 12 was closed in both directions but has since reopened.
