Motorcyclist killed in crash near Maltby

MALTBY, Wash. -- Authorities say a motorcyclist died in a crash with another vehicle Tuesday afternoon in Snohomish County.

Police were called before 2 p.m. to Paradise Lake Rd & 103rd Dr SE.

According to Snohomish County Fire District 7, the motorcycle rider died at the scene. It was unclear if there were any other injuries.

Officials said Paradise Lake Road would be closed in both directions at 103rd until further notice.

The circumstances of the crash were not immediately known.
