Weak tornado in Grand Mound area, no damage reported: NWS

The NWS of Seattle said Friday that a "weak tornado" was spotted just before 2 p.m. in a field south of Tenino Grand Mound Road, southeast of Grand Mound.



TENINO, Wash. -- The National Weather Service says a tornado briefly touched down Friday in Thurston County.

The NWS of Seattle said Friday that a "weak tornado" was spotted just before 2 p.m. in a field south of Tenino Grand Mound Road, southeast of Grand Mound.



There were no reports of damage or injuries, the weather service said on Twitter.
