New study will examine teachers 'typical' work day
SEATTLE -- How much time does your child's teachers actually spend teaching? The question could soon be answered by a new state-funded study.
According to the Everett Herald, lawmakers set aside $25,000 for researchers at Central Washington University to examine how much time teachers spend on teaching and how much time they spend on administrative tasks like compiling reports and conducting tests.
