Bail set at $5M for suspect accused in Everett double homicide

A suspect was arrested on Tuesday after two people were killed and one was injured in a shooting in Everett on Monday evening. 

The shooting occurred just before 4 p.m. in a home in the 2000 block of Lexington Avenue. 

When police arrived, they found two men in their 40s with gunshot wounds. They were pronounced dead at the scene. 

On Wednesday, the Snohomish County Medical Examiner's Office identified the two victims as 48-year-old Anthony Burnett and 44-year-old Anthony Jolly. 

One person was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center. Their condition is unknown. 

25-year-old Shayne Baker was arrested in connection to the shooting. He is being held at the Snohomish County Jail on $5 million bail. He was booked on two counts of second-degree murder and first-degree assault. 

Court documents say Baker knew the three victims. 

No motive has been released yet.
