Police: Driver hits two people walking, kills one near Muckleshoot Casino
AUBURN, Wash. -- Auburn Way South is back open after a driver jumped a curb, crashed into a pair of pedestrians, killing one of them.
The crash happened early Thursday next to the Muckleshoot Casino in Auburn.
Police say the driver of an SUV was speeding down Auburn Way South, and apparently lost control. The vehicle jumped the curb, plowing into two pedestrians.
One of the pedestrians was killed, while the other one was not seriously hurt.
The driver of the SUV was tossed from the vehicle when it rolled over into the Muckleshoot parking lot.
That driver was taken to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition.
Police are still investigating.
