<br><br>SEATTLE -- Seattle police said a woman was found dead Wednesday night in a car in a public garage near the Regal Cinemas and Northgate Mall. Police called it an apparent homicide.<br><br>"Officers were called to a parking garage 300 block of NE 103rd St. at 7:30 tonight when Seattle Firefighters discovered an adult female unresponsive inside a car," the Seattle Police Department said.<br><br>"Homicide detectives and crime scene investigators are on scene where they are currently collecting evidence and canvassing for witnesses," the department said.<br><br>Police patrols were increased in the area during the investigation, police said.<br><br>The King County Medical Examiner's Office will identify the victim and determine a cause of death.<br><br>Police asked that anyone with information to call the Homicide/Assault Tip Line at (206) 233-5000.<br><br>No other information was immediately available.
