Police search for suspects in Seatac shooting
SEATAC -- Police are searching for suspects in an early morning shooting that left two men injured and cars damaged Thursday.
The King County Sheriff's Office received a report of multiple shots fired around 1 a.m. Thursday in the 16700 block of 31st Avenue South. Deputies arrived on the scene to find a man in his 30s collapsed at a nearby bank with one gunshot wound. He was transported to Harborview Medical Center with serious injuries. Another person in a bullet ridden car checked himself into the hospital with at least gunshot wound.
According to police, the men were driving in their car when a suspect or suspects opened fire. The victims crashed their car into parked cars at an apartment complex, and one of the victims ran to a nearby bank.
Police are searching for the suspects, but say they have no clear accounts from either the victims or witnesses. It is unknown if the shooting was a random act or if the victims were targeted.
Sheriff's office detectives are investigating the case.
