SEATTLE -- Seattle Police are searching for the bicyclist that hit and seriously hurt an elderly man.

The collision dislocated his shoulder and a broke a bone in his eye socket and now that 85-year-old is left with a big medical bill.

“I heard a voice behind me … a woman saying ‘brakes!’ and the next thing I know I was down,” Conrad Bosworth recalls. “ I was flat on my face.”

Conrad was headed to get a flu shot on October 19 – at about 12:30 p.m. -- at 8th and Madison when he says the woman on the bike was going about 10 mph.

“Dislocated left shoulder, all types of scrapes and bruises and later on they found that I've broken a bone in my eye socket,” Bosworth explained.

While the woman stopped to talk to medics, she never left her information.

Police say whoever it was, they need to take responsibility. Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for any informatoin leading to the identity of the bicyclist.

“When a guy’s laying on a gurney, the medic units are there tending to him, he's bleeding from his eye and his shoulder is dislocated, he's 85 years old laying on a crosswalk, come on, you know what you did,” Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound’s Jim Fuda said. “Look at the guy, he's 85 years old he's on a fixed income and he's got these bills piling up so he's going to need some resolve.”

Conrad says he’s not concerned about those medical bills. What he truly wants is an apology.

“The person who did this, if they just came and say they’re sorry, that would be a big help,” Conrad said softly.

If you know who the bicyclist is, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS. You could get up to $1,000 reward. And, more importantly, help get some justice for Conrad.
