Police warn parents of child luring attempts in Mountlake Terrace

MOUNTLAKE TERRACE -- Authorities want the Mountlake Terrace community to be aware of two child luring attempts in the past week.

According to police, there have been two reports of drivers pulling up beside students, who were walking home alone, and offering them a ride.

Officials said the suspects are a man and a woman both with a foreign accent. Two different cars were used: a silver minivan and a black 4-door Audi.

No further information was given.

Anyone who sees suspicious activity is urged to call 9-1-1 immediately.
