Repeat domestic violence offender accused of sneaking into victim's home, attacking her as she slept -- arrested
FUGITIVE CAPTURED January 25, 2016 --
Sialii Taatia was arrested and booked into the King County Jail on Monday, January 25th.
He's being held on $100,000 bail.
FUGITIVE WANTED IN KING COUNTY June 12, 2015 --
Sialii Taatia, who also goes by the first name, 'Charles,' is wanted for Domestic Felony Violation of a Court Order.
“Here’s a guy who has had an abusive relationship for the past ten years with a woman and he was actually the caretaker of this particular victim’s mother," says Jim Fuda with Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound. "Over the years he’s had several ‘no contact orders’ out against him to include an Assault 2 where he choked her and this particular morning he broke into her apartment in Renton and climbed over the woman while she was sleeping and began to attack her. She screamed, yelled for the mother to call the police and this is when he ran away. We need to get this guy off the streets.”
He's been convicted of several domestic violence crimes.
