Rochester man pleads guilty to possessing child pornography

OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) — A 34-year-old Rochester man faces nearly three years in prison when he is sentenced next month for possessing child pornography.

The Olympian reports Alan Dale Burns pleaded guilty Monday in Thurston County Superior Court. He was arrested as a result of an undercover FBI investigation in Dallas that tracked images to his computer.

Court documents say Burns was trying to delete files from his computer when sheriff's deputies raided his home in September.
