Rolled semi hauling human waste blocks SB I-5 ramp to US 2

EVERETT, Wash. -- An overturned semi truck carrying human waste blocked the southbound I-5 off-ramp to U.S. 2 Wednesday afternoon.

Washington State Patrol first tweeted about the minor injury crash around 12:30 p.m.  The ramp was reopened late Wednesday afternoon.



One of the semi's two trailers rolled on the ramp losing some of its load of human waste.

The ramp onto U.S. 2 was expected to be blocked until at least 2:30.


    The Washington State Department of Transportation warned drivers of the closure, and suggested everyone keep their windows rolled up in Everett. They also said a detour was in place.
