Seahawks wrap up rookie mini-camp; Carroll pleased
RENTON -- The Seahawks wrapped up their three-day rookie mini-camp Sunday afternoon. Sixty-seven players attended, including the Hawks’ 11 draftees.
Prior to camp, seven of those players were signed to multi-year contracts.
Some of the standouts included Seahawks first draft pick Christine Michael, a running back out of Texas A&M, wide receiver Chris Harper and defensive tackle Jordan Hill.
Coach Pete Carroll said that, overall, he’s pleased with what he's seen and the progress that was made over the past three days.
He said the players picked up the tempo fairly quickly, but mostly he's just excited that the road to the upcoming season is here.
