Seattle area post offices extend hours for holiday rush

SEATTLE -- Six King County post offices are keeping the doors open this weekend, to help customers get their holiday packages shipped on time.

Bitterlake/Columbia/Riverton: Open 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Saturday

Issaquah and Mercer Island: Open Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Renton Highlands: Open Sunday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

To ensure delivery by Christmas day, the shipping deadline for priority is mail is  Monday, Dec. 21.

The deadline for Priority Mail Express is Wednesday, Dec. 23.
