Seattle man wins $10,000 in Sweepstakes

SEATTLE -- It's a moment you've seen dozens of times on TV, and maybe you've dreamed that it could  happen to you.  A man with an enormous check, balloons, and flowers - walking up to someone's front door to announce they've won the Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes.

Wednesday in Seattle, that dream came true for 32-year old Brandon King.  He won $10,000 and was presented with a bouquet of roses, balloons, and yes, that enormous cardboard check.

King has been wheelchair-bound most of his life.  He said he enters the sweepstakes online every day and thought his chances of winning were better than most.  Still, he said he thought he was hallucinating when he saw the sweepstakes representative walking up to him.

He is an aspiring film maker and writer.  He said he'll use his winnings to buy some new camera equipment and a computer.  And he may go to the Seattle Art Institute for training.
