Detectives released video Thursday taken by a security camera inside the home on the 11300 block of 35th Avenue NE in Seattle.

The victims told officers that two masked men barged into their home on March 12, held them at gunpoint, zip-tied their hands, and then searched the home for cash. One of the victims fought back, and at that point one of the home invaders fired his gun, striking the victim in the groin. The suspects eventually fled, giving the victims a chance to free themselves and call police. Medics transported the injured victim to Harborview Medical Center for treatment. “The victim in this case obviously lived but the fact remains suspects are now on the loose and they’re armed with weapons. Who knows what their intent will be. Maybe breaking into your home," said Ret. Det. Myrle Carner with Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound who is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information.

Robbery detectives are now working with the victims as they continue the investigation. One suspect is described as a male in his mid-to-late 30s, 5'8" to 5'10" with a thick build. A second suspect is described as a male 5'8" with a thin build, around 160 pounds. If you have any information, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS. You may be eligible for a cash reward.
