Seattle Police make first May Day arrest; man allegedly carrying machete with 'death' painted on blade

SEATTLE – Police say they arrested a man for throwing a rock at a window during Friday afternoon’s May Day marches.
The man was reportedly found carrying a machete with the word ‘death’ and a picture of a skull painted on the blade.
Police said the man was also armed with a heavy wrench and a bottle filled with paint.
Authorities said the man was arrested near the 1600 block of Belmont around 4:00 p.m.
