Sheriff asks for public's help on woman's death in Lake Stevens
EVERETT – The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday it is “not seeking any specific suspects or persons of interest” in the case of a woman found dead in a Lake Stevens home Monday, but it asked for the public to forward any tips about the crime.
On Monday, the Lake Stevens Police Department said a woman in her 20s was found dead of "homicidal violence" in the 9200 block of 15th Street SE in Lake Stevens Monday morning. No other information was released, including the woman's identity.
In a news release titled "suspicious death investigation" on Wednesday, the sheriff’s office said: “Investigators have finished processing the residence as of 3 p.m. today and will continue their investigation of this crime. At this point, investigators are not seeking any specific suspects or persons of interest, but do ask the public to continue forwarding tips related to this crime.”
