Stick-up bandit targeting pot shops
SEATTLE - Police need help catching a robber who is allegedly responsible for a series of stick-ups at head shops around the Puget Sound.
The man's crime spree began on Nov. 21 at the House of Glass in Federal Way, police said. The suspect was paying for a pipe when he drew a pistol on the clerk and fled with some cash.
The next day, the suspect pulled a gun on a clerk at another House of Glass shop in Tacoma. The suspect also robbed two Puffin Glass Studios shops in Renton and Seattle on Nov. 26 .
In all the robberies, the suspect attempted to assure employees the robberies weren't "personal."
The suspect is a white male in his 20s, about 6'3" with a slight build and short hair.
