Sunshine continues tomorrow

sunshineHigh pressure is in control this weekend! Patchy morning fog across the area will turn into sunny skies tomorrow. This will be the last day like this one as our ridge starts to weaken on Sunday, allowing for clouds to drift in by the afternoon. Daytime highs will be near 50 degrees both days.

After receiving about half the rain (and snow in the mountains) that we usually get since October, models are starting to pick up on scattered showers returning by Tuesday. Once they start, wet weather continues through next weekend.

We have been in a neutral weather pattern which basically means that anything can happen. We still have about 55 days of winter left so there is still time to make up the rain and snowfall.  In the meantime, our days are starting to get longer with almost 9 hours of daylight now!
