Suspect arrested in attempted burglary shooting
SNOHOMISH - Snohomish County Sheriff's deputies arrested a 64 year-old man in connection with the shooting of 48 year-old man, in an attempted burglary at a residence in Snohomish, Friday night. Shari Ireton of the Snohomish County Sheriff's office sais that deputies were called to the home in the 300 block of South Carpenter Road around 5:30 p.m. Deputies found the man with a possible gunshot wound in the leg.
Deputies detained and released at least four other people in connection to the incident, Ireton said. During the search for suspects, deputies discovered several hundred marijuana plants. The wounded man was transported to a local hospital, and his condition is not known. No other arrests are expected, Ireton said.
