Suspect shot by Seattle officers, deputies after ramming patrol car and brandishing gun, police say
SEATTLE -- A suspect was shot by Seattle Police officers and county deputies Wednesday after he allegedly rammed a patrol car with a car and pulled out a gun.
The shooting happened around 3:00 p.m. near 3rd Ave. and Blanchard. Authorities were trying to arrest the suspect for an alleged drug crime.
Firefighters say the 25-year-old suspect was taken with non-life-threatening injuries to Harborview Medical Center.
No officers or deputies were injured.

Detectives from the Force Investigation Team were called to the scene to investigate.
